CIHS is the premier event for professionals dedicated to the safe transportation, handling, and use of hazardous materials. CIHS will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, at the Virgin Hotels Nashville from Monday, September 21 to Wednesday, September 23, 2026.

Yes, complementary wireless internet access will be available to all CIHS attendees

We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your meeting experience. Therefore, business casual attire is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a sweater or jacket for the conference as sometimes the meeting room temperatures can fluctuate.

Yes! CIHS will feature a dynamic exhibitor area where our sponsors will showcase cutting-edge products, services, and innovations shaping the future of hazardous materials management.   1. 1. Cancellations: Cancellation on or before August 31,2026 - 100% refund available. Cancellation on or after September 1, 2026 – no refund available. Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to summit@chemtrec.com.
  2. 2. No Shows: No shows will not receive refunds.
  3. 3. Substitutions / Registration Transfer: Registrations may be transferred to another person at no cost and done at any time before or during the event. Substitution requests must be submitted in writing to summit@chemtrec.com.
  4. 4. Force Majeure: CHEMTREC is not liable for delays in delivery and/ or non-delivery as the result of an Act of God, action by any government or quasi-government entity, fire, flood, insurrection, terrorism or terrorist act, riot, explosion, embargo, strikes, whether legal or illegal, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, work slowdown, or any other condition beyond the reasonable control of CHEMTREC affecting the production or delivery in any manner. If CHEMTREC or Hall Management cancel the 2026 CHEMTREC International Hazmat Summit due to the continuing COVID-19 or other similar pandemic CHEMTREC will use best efforts to reschedule the event in the year 2027. CHEMTREC will not be liable for any damages associated with such cancellation beyond allocation of the sponsorship fees as detailed in Section 5 of this Agreement.
  5. 5. CHEMTREC Cancellation of the Summit: If for any reason the 2026 CHEMTREC International Summit cannot proceed as an in-person event, CHEMTREC will use best efforts to reschedule the event in the year 2027. All registration fees paid by attendees will be retained by CHEMTREC and the Sponsor will be entitled to a substantially similar registration at the rescheduled event. If the event cannot be rescheduled during the year 2027 CHEMTREC will refund the registration fee.
